The Cornish round of the British MX1 championship presented a significant challenge for red plate holder Conrad Mewse, yet he delivered two impressive performances to secure victories in both motos. This achievement allowed him to maintain his flawless season as he clinched the overall title in Sunday’s event. The Crendon FASTRACK Honda team excelled in qualifying at the historic Landrake circuit, where Mewse quickly moved to the front in the opening moto. Starting from third, he swiftly overtook John Adamson and focused on race leader Josh Gilbert. Despite Gilbert’s strong efforts to defend his position, Mewse took the lead on the third lap and extended his advantage, ultimately winning by a margin of ten seconds.
