Janine Medler and Abbey Yaxley from our East Harling branch had the privilege of visiting The Nook

Earlier this month, Janine Medler and Abbey Yaxley from our East Harling branch had the privilege of visiting The Nook, the Norfolk hospice managed by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

This powerful and informative experience highlighted the significant impact of the fundraising efforts we have consistently supported for many years.

Each day, Janine and Abbey coordinate the collection of timber offcuts that we are unable to utilise, which are generously gathered by members of the community. The proceeds from these collections are donated directly to EACH, reinforcing our commitment to supporting this essential local charity.

This small gesture, while seemingly modest, contributes significantly to the vital services provided by The Nook, ensuring that children and families in need receive the care and support they deserve. Such initiatives exemplify our dedication to making a positive difference in our community, and we are proud to stand alongside EACH in their mission.
