The branch has recently undergone major refurbishment works to the office and manufacturing facilities, including the installation of new manufacturing equipment.
Some of the refurbishments include:
- Complete reconfiguration of the factory layout to achieve the best use of the factory space for manufacturing a full range of Timber Engineering products to service our customers in Devon and Cornwall.
- Opening up three factory units to improve production flow.
- Relocation of the original panel bench line, doubling the capacity for manufacture.
- Integration with the MiTek MBA and Crendon systems.
- Installation of a new hydraulic roller-bench line for Timber Frame panels, ensuring a safer process and enabling the ability to manufacture and pre-insulate panels.
- Complete overhaul of the offices.
- Achieving STA Gold accreditation for product and process/procedure.
